Question 1

How much does image upscaling cost?

Accepted Answer

a reviewed quote before tax per image under the named service scope. That replaced an older three-tier ladder — it's one price now regardless of how much work the file needs. Standard readiness is up to three days after artwork approval and payment. Paid rush is usually same or next day when accepted; staff confirms capacity, the current fee of a reviewed quote and timing before payment.

Question 2

How do I know if my image needs upscaling?

Accepted Answer

Rough rule: you want about 150 DPI at final printed size. A 1000-pixel-wide image is fine up to roughly 6 inches wide, but will look soft on a 3-foot banner. Send it over — we check the file before charging for the named service and tell you if it's already good enough.

Question 3

Can you fix a really blurry or tiny image?

Accepted Answer

Sometimes. Upscaling recovers and reconstructs detail; it can't invent what was never captured. A 200-pixel logo will improve but won't become a crisp 4-foot sign. We look first and tell you honestly — if it won't work, we do not charge for the named service, and for a logo specifically the better fix is vectorization through its own reviewed service.

Question 4

What's the difference between upscaling and vectorization?

Accepted Answer

Upscaling (a reviewed quote before tax for the named service) enhances a photo or complex image so it prints larger. Vectorization (priced through its own reviewed service) redraws a logo or line-art graphic as true vector artwork that scales infinitely with no quality loss at all. Photos get upscaled; logos get vectorized.

Question 5

Do I get the enhanced file to keep?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The named a reviewed quote before-tax service includes the upscaled file sent back to you, and it's yours to reuse anywhere.
